The Divorce Project (Romantic Comedy)
Logline: A married womanizer involved in a documentary for recently separated couples moves in with his friend and inadvertently breaks up his marriage, now they both must work together to win their wives back.
Meet Jason Panos, a womanizing Brit who never takes anything seriously, not even his own marriage. Jason soon finds himself on his ass and out of the house, forced to reevaluate his life. The only problem is Jason has an eye for the fairer sex, distracting him from the bigger picture - fixing his marriage with Rebecca. After a few tragic encounters with Big Marge, Jason stumbles upon a documentary in search of couples that are separated, and after a bit of convincing, his best friend Matt agrees to join the project as well as take Jason in. Little did Matt know, he was inviting a sex crazed, tea drinking, fart waving womanizer into his home.
Matt's wife Susanna wants Jason out of the house and we quickly turn towards a crusade of adventures to complete this mission. Yet, these attempts only further pull Jason in, while continuing to push Susanna away. And on the biggest day of the year, Matt and Susanna's Anniversary, every sweet gesture from Matt to make things better with Susanna back fires, working instead in Jason's favor and therefore causing Rebecca to fall back in love with Jason. Ultimately, the tables turn and Jason moves out and back in with Rebecca, while Matt now finds himself on his ass and forced to fix his marriage.
Jason and Matt join forces, with the help of their two gay best friends, in an effort to get Matt back in the game, after first putting him out in the wild and letting him sew his oats so to speak. However, Jason's poor advice only further weakens Matt and Susanna's relationship dashing any and all hopes at happiness. But Matt has one last trick up his sleeve to win Susanna back.
